As I woke up this morning feeling great, meditating on the healing powers we receive during challenging times. The words, “Cell Therapy” came to mind. Not quite Goodie Mob’s of "The Dungeon Family" (a southern urban hip hop group’s) version; which helped propel the Atlanta music scene to be recognized as a powerhouse in the Hip Hop industry.
Internationally respected leadership expert, speaker, and author John Maxwell wrote what I believe was one of the most profound statements about the power of one prayer. When writing about, "The Law of the Inner Circle: Leading When No One Sees" and Jesus’ “high priestly prayer (John 17:11-26).” He mentioned how one prayer prayed within Jesus’ inner circle, the family of disciples, would impact the way we do ministry. His words rang out saying, “At the end of Jesus’ life, HE felt acutely aware that the success of HIS work depended chiefly on the twelve disciples HE had trained.”
He explained his statement by saying, when Jesus knew He had but twelve hours left to live, He didn't start big campaigns. He didn't try to change laws.
In Proverbs 4, the word teaches us that in order to obtain godly wisdom we should do simple things. These simple things include watching our mouths, meditating on GOD's word by being focused on it and receiving the vision that HE places in our hearts. What comes in your heart is what you receive physically.
